Note: Oucques is a former commune in the Loir-et-Cher area of France, where every March a fancy dress parade is mounted. This work was painted from the artist's bedroom window at the Hotel Du Bon Labouveau in 1930. In 1979 Ninian Sanderson purchased La Cavalcade - Ouques from the artist.
