Note: Margaret Boyd studied art in the west of England and then in Paris.
In 1949 with Margaret Geddes she helped to organise an important touring exhibition to the Netherlands of work by prominent British women artists. The show included work by - Eileen Agar, Margaret Boyd, Ithell Colquhoun, Vera Cuningham, Margaret Geddes, Gertrude Hermes, Winifred Nicholson, Wendy Pasmore, Anne Redpath and Ethel Walker.
