Exhibitions
The Allied Artists Assocation, 1914.
Note: Maud Mathers was an outstanding pupil of both Sickert and Harold Gilman. Gilman and Sickert were convinced of her great potential and she exhibited alongside them at the AAA Exhibitions during World War I. Her untimely death at the age of 30 has meant that her work is extremely rare as her output was relatively small.
The present work was singled out by Sickert as the best work in the Allied Artists Association show of 1914.
