Note: Dorothy Kirkbride was born in Tylertown, Glamorgan in 1924 and died in Martock, Somerset in 2010. She received a national diploma in Design from St Martin's School of Art, London in 1951 and went on to study at the Courtauld Institute, London. She travelled through Africa and the East including Hong Kong where she painted and exhibited. Her work was included in The Hong Kong Arts Festival in 1977 and held a solo exhibition Aspects of Landscape in the Rotunda Exchange Square, Hong Kong in 1987. Her work is in the Hong Kong Arts Centre and the Hong Kong Museum of Art.
