Literature
When Marevna arrived in Paris in 1912 she began studying the works of Braque, Léger and Picasso amongst others. She made studies of their paintings in order develop her own cubist style. The present study is after one of Braque's L'Estaque landscapes from 1908 (in the collection of the Musée d'Art Moderne, Paris).
