Note: Hilary Miller was an artist and teacher. She married the painter Hubert Hennes. She studied at Blackheath School of Art, 1936-40, and at The Royal College of Art, 1940-3. She taught at The Oxford School of Art and Exhibited at The Royal Academy from the 1940's onwards. She is know for her evocative scenes of working class life in post war Britain.
