Provenance
The Artist's Family
Note: Like many artists of his generation White was influenced by the two Post-Impressionist exhibitions staged in London in 1910 and 1912. This early, experimental, study dates from the 1912-14 period when White was briefly influenced by cubism and vorticism through his friendship with C. R. W. Nevinson.
